About Abbi
Abbi Roe is a native of Roswell, New Mexico and started her training in High School when she joined her school’s Drama Program. Roe's interest in Musical Theatre continued as she appeared in many productions in Community Theatre.
Roe received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre in 2021 at West Texas A&M University; appearing in: A Flea in Her Ear, 9 to 5, Spring Awakening, Theory of Relativity, and Phaedra. During Roe's 1st degree, Roe also appeared in two dance concerts.
Roe worked professionally as a dancer in TEXAS! Outdoor Musical for 2 years.
Roe started pursuing her 2nd degree in Dance, Fall 2021. Roe choreographed recent university productions, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Sweeney Todd. Roe was also the assistant choreographer for Monstersongs, and SpongeBob the Musical, working alongside Leslie E. Williams, and Crystal D. Bertrand. Roe recently choreographed a solo and group for Falling Into Dance 2022 and received her B.F.A. in Dance this past May.
Roe spent summer 2022 as an Instructor of Theatre at Interlochen Arts Academy teaching and choreographing for their Arts Camp. Before Interlochen Arts Camp, Roe taught Musical Theatre, Ballet, and Tap to ages 3 to 13 for West Texas A&M University’s Dance Academy from 2021-2023.
Roe wishes to spread joy and love by creating and performing movement.
